In Web Snapper 3.x no more filled forms are snapped, are they?

Hi,

first let me tell you I find your Web Snapper awesome.
But one of the missing features while changing the architecture for version 3.x breaks my most often used Use-Case. Hence I have to switch to an other app, till you bring this feature back.

The Use-Case is the following:
I fill out some web page forms an will collect the filled form plus its resulting pages to have this for later reference.
Examples are
* buying something online while documenting all steps, or as well
* registering a new online account ...

Is there any possibility that the feature will get back into your application? And if so when

If I'm wrong and this feature is still in there. It at least doesn't work on my setting: Mac OS X 10.5.8, Safari 5.0.6.

Hi!

Hmmm - yes indeed, that would not work anymore... The old Safari haxie was sitting right there in the browser, so it truly could snap the page as is. Unfortunately, a Safari extension is nowhere near as powerful, which is why we resisted going down that route for so long. All it can do, really, is send information back to Web Snapper, then Web Snapper has to load the page internally in order to snap it. So your page, in this case, would load with an empty form.

I will definitely try and see if there's any way we could grab form values, but at this point, I can't promise anything...
